The Millburn Township Public Schools, the district overseeing Millburn, is quite simply, one of the top districts in the nation. For K-5, parents can choose between Deerfield Elementary School, Glenwood Elementary School, Hartshorn Elementary School, South Mountain Elementary School, and Wyoming Elementary School. From there, students move onto Millburn Middle and Millburn High School. From the 2007-2008 school year, Millburn High was recognized with the Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence by the United States Department of Education, the highest award an American school can receive. The high school was recently ranked in the top 150 high schools in Newsweek Magazine and was ranked third out of all public high schools in New Jersey.
